TRADE LICENCE

An Individual or a company which wanted to run a business, then they must apply for Trade Certificate with the respective Government department. Trade license (certificate of enlistment ), also known as a business license, is a permit that is issued by the Government. As per “Section 199” of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act 1980, the licensing department of Kolkata Municipal Corporation grants the Certificate of Enlistment. These licenses are used across the country and must be obtained from the respective State government for the performance of trade.

Required documents

In case of Companies/Private Limited Companies, the following documents are to be produced along with the application:

  • Memorandum/Articles of Association MOA
  • Declaration in Form No. 32
  • Form No. 18
  • Proof of occupancy

Other Required Documents:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • GST details as required
  • Photo graph of applicant as required
  • You have to submit document in support of place of business
  • If owned by petitioner, Tax bill

       In case of tenant, rent bill

       In case of lessee, lease-deed

       In case of relative, if granted rent free accommodation by the premises owner then you have to submit **consent letter from the owner.
